    My 42 Hours Fast Experience
    Holy Cow...I did not expect this !
    ✅  My Starting Point
    For just under 7 months I've been doing intermittent fasting & a somewhat low carb but definately high fat eating. The results are 45 lbs weight loss, 4 belt notches, daily body transformation and feeling great. Everyone who knows me can see immediately how my face and body have changed. It's just remarkable.

    My daily (and I mean every day for over 7 months) intermittent fasting routine is fasting for 18-24 hours. 18-20 easily and sometimes 24 hours.

    I have never been hungry. That point right there is astonishing to me. For my entire life I've alwasy felt a lack of food. Even at a buffett I felt that there was never going to be enough food for me. That is a deep rooted fear of mine.

    I mean chocolate cake, frosting, cookies, & brownies are my absolute favorites. I always thought that chocolate cake was part of my DNA.

    Over the last 7 months I have been able to replace that fear of food lacking with something more constructive.

    I now look at food and consider the impact it will have on my insulin sensitivity and gut health. I make healthier food choices. I can still eat pretty much anything I desire, I just now know what that food will do to my body and accept the concequences of consuming it.

    So, even after 7 months of pretty intensive intermittent fasting (18-20 each day) I was a bit anxious about doing a 42 hour fast. What would that feel like? Could I do it? Is it possible? I was a bit nervous.
    ✅  My Goals
    • That I COULD do it
    • Improve my insulin sensitivity
    • Improve my gut health
    • Improve autophagy
    ✅  My Preparation
    I watched many videos about doing an EXTENDED fast, which is anything over 24 hours. The thing that I was most concerned about was how to end the fast.

    And, that's where the big suprise came from. Wow!

    Ending an extended fast needs to be gradual. It's better to re-introduce certain foods in a particular order.

    If you jump right back into eating carbs, you'll lose the benefit of this next stage (The Big Suprise) and run the risk of relapsing into eating a bunch of junk carbs to satisfy your hunger feeling.

    So, I made an eating plan to end my 42 hour fast.
    ✅  Ending The 42 Hour Fast
    This is the The Big Suprise

    The purpose of your intermittent fast was to keep your insulin levels low.

    When you gradually re-introduce food you wind up EXTENDING your insulin fast benefit. In fact, during your first day of ending your fast you never cause your insulin level to rise. That means that you extended your insulin fast benefit from 42 hour to 66 hours! Even though you are eating again!

    If you continue this eating routine for your second day of breaking your fast you increase your insulin fast benefit from 66 hours to 90 hours.

    Do you see the trend here? Keep eating the same thing for several days after you end your 42 hour fast and enjoy the extended insulin fast benefits!

    You can keep doing this for 3, 4, 5 or more days!

    Holy Cow! What a suprise!

    You get the benefits of increasing your insulin sensitivity and rebuilding your gut health.

    Autophagy maxs out around 24-48 hours (current medical thinking) so your not getting much of that particular benefit. Plus, the bone broth your eating, which provides fantastic nutrients, slows down autophagy. Autophagy is best effective during your daily 16-24 hour fasting.
    ✅  My Eating Plan to End the 42 Hour Fast
    This is how I ended my 42 hour fast.

    • 12:00 pm - Avocado with Olive Oil
    • 1:00 pm - Sauerkraut (1/2 cup)
    • 2:00 pm - Steamed Veggies with Olive Oil (cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, mushrooms)
    • 4:00 pm - Bone Broth, Mushrooms & Sauerkraut
    I was never hungry during the 42 hour fasting period. I was had a full feeling after I ate and continued my normal fasting until noon the next day.

    At noon the next day I repeated the meal plan. I was eaily able to do this for 3 days. On the 3rd day I had some toast with butter.

    On the 4th day I returned to eating my normal eating plan. I even had a hamburger with onion rings (I know).
    ✅  Conclusion
    What did I learn?

    • A 42 hour fast is pretty easy to do
    • A 42 hour fast has benefits that far exceed 42 hours
    • Start each day eating fat, low carb
    Moving forward I plan to do my 42 hour fast once or twice each month. The 42 hour fast is great for improving insulin sensitivity and gut health.

    The normal 16-24 hour daily fast is best for Autophagy.

    Metabolic Inflexibility
    This is a condition where your body only burns sugar (glucose) because your insulin level is high. And it stays high. All excess sugar & carbs gets stored as fat reserves. You only burn glucose for energy. You never burn fat for energy. This cycle continues over and over and you gain weight and become a breeding ground for autoimmune diseases like Cancer, Heart Disease, Diabetes, IBS, Arthritis and more, until you develop Heart Disease, Diabetes, Liver Cancer or something else and die. In the meantime your doctor will give you plenty of pills & drugs from Big Pharma that will not help and actually makes your condition worse. Not good.

    Metabolic Flexibility
    This condition is what you want. Your body can easily "switch" between burning glucose and fat for energy. You become healthy and fit. Weight loss becomes a "side effect". Your body does all this automatically, and mostly while you sleep. Imagine that, you'll lose that weight you've been struggling with by sleeping! Best of all you become fit and live a long life free of autoimmune diseases. You can even reverse many of the issues you currently have, like Cancer, Heart Disease, Diabetes, IBS, Arthritis and more. How cool is that?

    Metabolic Inflexibility comes from a sustained Elevated Insulin Level.

    • You need to get into the state of Mitochondrial Uncoupling!

    • Gradually shorten your "feeding window", the time between when you last ate and when you start eating again is crucial
    • Your first meal of the day should be mostly carbs, or mostly protein, or mostly fat
    • You'll know when you have achieved Metabolic Flexibility when you can live in your fasting state without any difficulties like cravings and headaches
    • Fat Fasting (Bullet Proof Fasting) Since fat does not stimulate insulin you can start your morning with eating fat. That will make you feel satiated until you eat your first meal after Noon. Bullet Proof Coffee is coffee with butter and MCT oil.

    You can test your insulin level by getting a Fasting Insulin level test.

    Although this is the most accurate test (not the fasting glucose test or Fasting Blood Sugar Test) most doctors do not check this. Do it.

    Intermittent Fasting ...
    Intermittent Fasting simply means for you to only eat during certain parts of the day. Initially you can start with a 12 hour period of eating and a 12 hour period of not eating. Fortunately, most of that 12 hours of not eating is while you are sleeping. So let's say you eat breakfast at 8:00 am. Then your 12 hour period of eating will be between 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Try not to eat or snack after 8:00 pm. Do this during the week. Take the weekend off and eat/snack as you normally do. Do this for 1-2 weeks.

    If you feel you've achieved the 12/12 eat/fast routine then move your "break-fast" to 9:00 am. So your eating period will be between 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. That's 13 hours of not eating and 11 hours of eating, or a 13/11 fast/eat routine. Do this during the week. Take the weekend off and eat/snack as you normally do. Do this for 1-2 weeks.

    If you feel you've achieved the 13/11 eat/fast routine then move your "break-fast" to 10:00 am. So your eating period will be between 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. That's 14 hours of not eating and 10 hours of eating, or a 14/10 fast/eat routine. Do this during the week. If you have difficulty waiting until 10:00 am then try for 9:30 am until you can make it to 10:00 am. Take the weekend off and eat/snack as you normally do. Do this for 1-2 weeks.

    It's not a race. You have plenty of time. You are simply training your body & system to a new way of eating.

    Keep increasing your fasting period until you can get to around 16/8 or 18/6. 18/6 would be something like you only eat between Noon to 6:00 pm. When you can get to 16/8 or 18/6 you will be at a very effective Intermittent Fasting routine.

    THE point of fasting is to NOT SPIKE your insulin during that period. Eating and snacking SPIKES your insulin. That means you burn sugar for your body's energy needs. When fasting you'll switch to burning fat for your body's energy needs. That's how weight loss becomes a "side effect".

    You will know when your body moves from "insulin resistance" to "insulin sensitive" when you feel you are not hungry until your eating period arrives.

    There are a couple of things you can do in the morning to help extend your fasting period until you eat again.

    With Your Morning Coffee or Tea
    1. Add Coconut Oil
    2. Or, add MCT C8 Oil
    3. Add MCT C8 Oil & Butter
    4. Add MCT C8 Oil & Butter & Inulin (prebiotic)

    With your morning coffee when you add MCT oil or Coconut oil. Or, you make a "Bullet Proof Coffee" with butter and MCT oil. Eating fat does not trigger your insulin and gives you an extra boost before you start your daily eating. MCT oil and Coconut oil goes straight to your liver which converts it to ketones for your body to make energy.

    Using INULIN in your morning coffee feeds your gut. It's a prebiotic and feeds the probiotics in your gut. When your probiotics eat...you're not hungry. Inulin does not break your fast since it does not trigger insulin. Best of all...you're not hungry! That makes it easier to extend your fasting period.

    My Story
    I built this website because of the endless frustration I've encountered in getting and maintaining a fit, healthy body and the ongoing failure of the medical community and big pharma. They are both more interested in making money than helping you. During my research into health & wellness I've compiled a great deal of interesting ideas. I've been banned from all social media sites because I talked about things that went against their money grabbing narratives.     Why Does It Work?
    The reason this works is because of Mitochondrial Uncoupling

    It all starts with eating foods with MCT's. (fat)
    (MCT = Medium Chain Triglycerides)

    Consuming MCTs delivers ketones to your bloodstream. Because your body can’t directly use fat for energy, the liver converts fatty acids from food into ketones. These ketones get released into the bloodstream, absorbed by the brain and other organs, and delivered to your mitochondria to use as fuel.

    The Mitochondrial generates ATP by utilizing the energy released during the oxidation of the food we eat. ATP is used in turn as the primary energy source for most biochemical and physiological processes, such as growth, movement and homeostasis. (That's the technical definition)

    If the Mitochondrial gets overloaded it 'throws away' calories (into your poop) which is called Mitochondrial Uncoupling or Caloric Bypass. This causes weight loss.

    This is all a chemical reaction on a cellular level.

    Ok, what word did I not use?

    Correct! I did not use the word CARBS!

    That's why limiting carbs in a restrictive keto diet is not important.

    You can increase your intake of MCT (Coconut oil, olive oil, ect) to promote Mitochondrial Uncoupling and not have to worry about limiting carbs to 20g/day

    What is Lectin?
    Lectin is a protein from plants. Plants use lectin to poison animals who try to eat them. When an animal eats a plant with lectin it will get sick and sometimes die. This is a great defensive plan to protect the plants from being eaten.

    Unfortunately, Lectin is in the plants we eat as well, so they get into our bodies. This causes us to get sick. Eating foods high in lectin over the many years of our lives causes damage to our body, specifically the gut microbiome. This causes us to have health issues like autoimmune disease, IBS, arthritis, lupis and more.

    By reducing or eliminating Lectin we can re-build the gut microbiome and live a healthier and longer quality life.

    Update: 5 months - I've lost 42+ lbs. It's ALL about your insulin sensitivity! Get that under control and you're on your way. I eat between Noon and 6:00 pm. Fasting during those other hours helps your insulin sensitivity, helps fix your gut health and promotes autophagy.

    Chocolate Peanut Butter FAT BOMBS
    These yummy deserts are not just satisfying and filling but they are fast & easy to make.
    • Dark Chocolate - 1/2 bar
    • Coconut Oil - 1/4 cup
    • Peanut Butter - 1/4 cup
    • Cacao Powder - 1-2 tsp (optional)
    • MCT Oil - 1/2 tsp
